Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music has been featured in television and film shows including How to Be Single Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. At the age of three She began her acting career as a professional as a part of a nationally telecast Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen's career came to a halt for over three years, until she landed a lead role in Misconceptions, a WB show Misconceptions. Momsen starred also in Saving Shiloh 2006. During this time. Her audition for the role of Hannah Montana was top 3. Miley gained the role.
