Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre is a Canadian. Her first role as an actor occurred while she was employed at a cafe. The restaurant's Canadian film director came across her as Lefevre was waiting tables. Lefevre relocated into Los Angeles, where she got a part on the popular TV programme What About Brian (2006). The actress' acting talents were discovered by a local customer when she was working as an 18-year-old at the restaurant. This show put her to an agent for casting. That eventually lead to a role on a Canadian sitcom. Her appearances on David. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to the lead in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of BBC popular Life on Mars (2009). The father of Lefevre is French. She was born in Montreal, but she spoke mostly English. In 2004 due to the shortage of English role models in Montreal she moved from Montreal to Los Angeles. Landed her biggest film role up to this point in the adaptation by Catherine Hardwicke of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight one of a series of popular teen stories about vampires.
